HOW TO REACH THE TOWN OF SPERLONGA:
> BY TRAIN
The nearest railway station, along the Rome-Naples FS, is Fondi-Sperlonga. It can be reached from Rome (about 1 hr and 10 min) and Naples (1 hr and 20 min). The train runs every hour.
The town of Sperlonga is about 12 km away from the Fondi-Sperlonga railway station, and can be reached either by bus or taxi.
The bus schedule is such that it leaves soon after the train arrives, and it takes about 20 minutes to reach Sperlonga . The cost of the bus ticket is about 1 euro.

From Rome, you can choose two alternative routes: either the via Appia (SS 70) or the Via Pontina (SS 148); then you drive toward Terracina, and aftert you take the Via Flacca (SS 213).
Alternatively, from Naples, you drive toward Formia and Gaeta, and then you take the Via Flacca (SS 213) to Sperlonga.
From both Rome and Naples, the trip is about 2 hours long.
